The Al-Salehi Medical Foundation was established in February 2006 at its current headquarters in Al-Mansoura, Medicines Street, Yemen, and has several branches and departments.

It aims to finance hospitals, pharmacies, health facilities, international and humanitarian organizations with all their needs (medical equipment and supplies, medicines, laboratory solutions, cleaning and sterilization materials, relief and housing materials, safety materials, and other related needs) wholesale. It also coordinates with various establishments and organizations to provide distribution services for relief, cleaning, and medical supplies, as well as to rent vehicles to serve these establishments and organizations.
The foundation's work includes conducting feasibility studies for future health projects and providing evaluations and consultations for existing facilities. The Maintenance Department also works on contracts with hospitals and health facilities for the purpose of maintaining them.
The foundation has official employees and dozens of daily wage employees based on need and the nature of the work. The foundation has transport and distribution vehicles, as well as administrative, follow-up, public relations, marketing, and promotional vehicles.
